Zilker is a neighborhood in south central Austin conveniently located south of Lady Bird Lake between MoPac Expy and I-35. Its population is approximately 6,329 with a median age of 36.9 years.

Zilker got its name from Austin’s most beloved park – Zilker Park. If you love live music and food trucks, look no further because this area is home to world-renowned music festivals throughout the year including Austin City Limits and South by Southwest.

For art enthusiasts, the Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum exhibits the work of Charles Umlauf and other contemporary sculptors in a natural setting.  

 

Barton Springs Pool is the perfect place to cool off during the hot summer months. It’s a 1,000-foot-long natural limestone pool that’s fed by several underground springs. Locals love coming here with their dogs to swim, play and chill out seven days a week.
